Maya Chen stepped through the doorway of The Rusty Bolt and stopped. Neon signs buzzed on dark walls. Empty chairs sat scattered around old tables. This was where Jerald came every night, and she wanted to change it. She would transform this tired bar into something bright and welcoming. She walked past the worn bar counter, running her fingers along the cracked surface. The bottles on the shelves were dusty and faded. In her mind, she saw polished wood and colorful glass gleaming under warm lights. The entrance needed to feel like home, not a cave. She pulled out her notebook and sketched the bar as it could be. Outside, the back patio sat empty except for broken chairs. Maya pushed open the metal door and stepped into the evening air. She pictured tables with clean lines and bright umbrellas. Small carts could roll between them, carrying food and cold drinks. People would gather here after work, talking and laughing under the stars. She turned back to face the building. The faded sign above the door read "The Rusty Bolt." Maya crossed it out in her notebook and wrote "The Hall of Fame" instead. This place would celebrate the people who made Futureia special. It would become the heart of the neighborhood, and Jerald would finally have somewhere worth spending his time. She closed the notebook and smiled. The work would start tomorrow.
