Hestia knelt before the cold hearth in the Grand Hall and placed her palm against the ash. The stone felt lifeless beneath her fingers. Every family in Greece deserved a warm hearth, a flame that never died, but darkness crept into more homes each season. She closed her eyes and whispered a prayer to herself. She would travel from house to house, village to village, keeping every fire alive. No family would suffer the cold while she still drew breath. She stood and looked around the vast hall. The Hestian Insula would rise here, adorned with gold that caught the light. From this central location, she would sense when any family's fire began to fade. Hestia walked to the center of the hall and raised her hands. A flame sparked between her palms, growing larger and brighter. She lowered it into a golden hearth that materialized before her, its surface carved with designs of homes and families. The Grand Golden Hearth of Jessie would burn here always, a source flame that communities could gather around. Its warmth would spread outward to every dwelling that needed it. She stepped back and watched the flames dance. Outside these walls, she knew travelers moved along the roads between villages. They would need shelter, places to rest and share news of which homes had lost their fires. She would ensure that structures stood along every path, simple buildings where wanderers could pause and connect. The work ahead stretched far, but her purpose burned clear. No hearth would go dark. No family would freeze. She had made her promise, and now the journey would begin.
