Theos stood at the edge of the mountain temple, watching young monks practice their breathing forms below. His white beard caught the morning breeze as he gripped his walking staff. For fifty years, he had trained seekers in the ancient ways. Now his bones ached and his steps grew slower each season. He needed to pass on what he knew before time ran out. The Spirit Realm demanded wise guides, and he would shape the teachers who would light the path for thousands. He turned from the cliff and walked toward the clearing where he would build his school. The space sat empty now, just grass and stone. But in his mind, he saw it clearly. A hut that would shimmer with captured sunlight, walls glowing warm and golden. The Sunlit Haven would be small, but it would hold everything his students needed. Inside those radiant walls, he would teach them to listen to the spirits and speak truth to their people. Outside the hut, he planned a pulpit made from pure beams of light. Students would gather there each morning to share what they had learned. The Sunlight Pulpit would draw them together, a place where wisdom could flow between teacher and student. And deeper in the clearing, he would place a crystal that caught and held the sun's essence. Those who could focus on its shifting light without losing concentration would be ready to lead others. Theos planted his staff in the ground and smiled. The work ahead would demand everything he had left to give. But when he was gone, these new teachers would carry the ancient ways forward. They would guide seekers through darkness and doubt. His legacy would live in their voices, their choices, their care for those who came seeking answers.
