Outside, golden leaves rustled on their tree. They'd built everything they'd dreamed of—a real place where couples could heal. Now what? Linda turned to Greg with a small smile. "We keep growing it," she said. They had the space. They had the people. This was just the beginning of something bigger. The post office downtown became their next connection point. Greg spoke with the manager about setting up a bulletin board where couples could find information about the support group. Linda mailed letters to marriage counselors in nearby cities, inviting them to visit and share their methods. The brick building felt solid and dependable—exactly the kind of place people already trusted. Within a week, three counselors wrote back saying they'd come speak at the center. The train station brought the first visiting expert on a Thursday afternoon. Linda and Greg waited on the platform as the train pulled in. A woman stepped off carrying a leather bag full of workbooks. She'd been running support groups for twenty years and wanted to teach them new techniques. They walked her to the center and filled the main room with couples eager to learn. The session lasted three hours. People took notes. Two couples thanked the visitor with tears in their eyes. Greg stood at the courthouse the following Monday to make everything official. The building's tall columns and carved stonework made the moment feel important. He filed paperwork to register their support group as a recognized organization. Now they could apply for grants, accept donations, and expand their reach beyond just their town. Walking down the courthouse steps, Greg called Linda. "It's legal now," he said. "We're really doing this." They weren't just helping a few couples anymore. They were building something that could last for years, helping hundreds of marriages find their way back from the edge.
