Colton Faetreader stood at the edge of the artisan district, watching two merchants argue over a shipment of dyed cloth. His pink hair caught the morning light as he stepped between them. Being half-fae meant most people didn't trust him completely. Too human for the fae. Too fae for the humans. But that's exactly why he could help here. He understood both sides. If he could solve these trade disputes, he'd prove his mixed blood was strength, not weakness. The cloth merchants stopped yelling when Colton raised his hand. He pointed down the street to a building he'd found last week. The Lunar Pink Arcade had been abandoned for months, but its wide tables and quiet rooms were perfect. "Meet me there tomorrow morning," he said. The merchants looked at each other, then back at him. The building's pink walls and moon decorations made it feel separate from the district's usual tension. One merchant nodded. Then the other. Colton felt his chest loosen. This was the start. A place where rivals could sit face-to-face and actually talk. If this worked, the whole district would see what he could do.
