Coven Hive Abyss

This was once Cobalt Heights. A city like any other. Nothing out of the ordinary. And then, the “Day of Smolder” happened, leading to the “Darkest Night. The day after Halloween was the epicenter of 4 of the worst horrors any mind could conjure. At 12 PM from the sky came balls of fire. Hives of giant insects, some docile… some not so much. Simultaneously, as it was planned, a militant race burst from the ground. The Mole Men… with their crystalline weaponry. Began their invasion. War and anarchy ensued for hours on end, and just when things began to settle. 6 PM. From the cemetery arose darkness, and supernatural monstrosities. At the behest of a sinister coven of black magic worshippers, hell was unleashed. Literally. The wall between the Nether Realm and this one was shattered. And a portal to the 4th Ring of Beelzebub’s kingdom was opened. The Land of Scowl. The vicious demons eviscerated the coven. Preparing themselves to conquer. The 4 horrors of the day battled for supremacy. When the dust settled each force was depleted, regrouping. And in an instant, the denizens still left standing burst from their safe havens. Prepared to die for their home. The hearts of the Cobaltens were steadfast and resolute. Casualties on all sides. By the end, the city had been restructured. Aliens, Mole Men, the, supernatural, demons….. and the newly formed Cobalt Denizens. All surviving the best way possible.
