Finch left the kiosk with the warning sheet pressed flat inside their folder. The cabinet hummed behind them, but its glass doors were public. Anyone could peer in. They needed walls, not windows. They needed a door that locked. They crossed the field to a squat concrete structure set into the rock. A reinforced metal door waited, scarred and heavy. Finch worked the latch and slipped inside. The air smelled of stone and old copper. This would be the place. Private. Sealed. Inside, Finch unrolled a translucent sheet across the warning notice. They smoothed it down. The adhesive caught the raised tracks beneath the burned letters. When Finch peeled the sheet back, the hidden signature came with it — every loop, every curve, lifted clean. They pinned the transfer to the inside wall. Then they dragged in a large, weathered billboard frame from the back chamber and bolted the copper sheet to its panels. One signature mounted. Room for many more. Finch stepped back. The vault held the evidence now. No glass. No public eyes. They could compare every signature here, side by side, as the pile grew. They locked the door behind them. The folder felt lighter. The arc of the work felt longer. Somewhere out there, a hand that had branded those sheets was still moving — and Finch finally had a place to catch it.
