Asgard

Created by Perry

Asgard is the beautiful green and gold hued golden realm of the Norse Aesir gods ruled by Odin Allfather and his wife Frigg and surrounded by rainbows. It is located on the celestial branches at the highest root of the cosmic tree Yddragsil. Asgard is lush beautiful golden fortefied city of golden Viking style palaces and realms borderd by clouds and vast snowy mountains. It is connected to Midgard (Earth) and the other realms by a grand beautiful glimmering rainbow bridge called the Bifröst. Only here do golden apple trees grow, which privide the gods with youth and immortality. The gods live in a state of relative harmony in Asgard. However, all will soon change with the death of the beloved god Baldr and the foretold apocalypse - Ragnarök.
