Ashen Frost
Long ago, the world was a paradise. Rivers ran crystal blue, forests stretched forever, and life thrived around the heartfire volcano. The people believed the volvcano was eternal, a source of warmth and balance. Cities ans tribes flourished around its base, building temples and homes. But the heartfire erupted in a cataclysm that shattered the sky. Rivers boiled, forests burned, and molten lava devoured kingdoms. Then came the inbalance. The smoke and ash blocked out the suns warmth. The land never recovered. Now, blizzards scour the ruins, buring entire valleys in frost. Strange cracks scar the world reveiling the past below. And with it, are veins of diamonds and hidden treasure. Rumors whisper of an entire underground world. A realm of fire, magma seas, and riches beyond imagination. Few have dared to descent. None have made it out. Above ground, survival is brutal. Tribes roam the wasteland. Some forms tribes, sharing food and clothes, others are locked in feudes for scraps. Every expidition into the storm risks freezing, yet treasure hunters still march chasing wealth and fame. The world is a contradiction. Fire and frost locked into a war. And the volcanos roar reminds all that heartfire is never done burning.
