Cutter’s Bend
A small tundra town built generations ago around its ice-cutting trade, Cutter’s Bend has long since moved past the industry that founded it - the old ice-cutting operarion shut down decades back, left to the snow. The town adapted and is now modest, but steady: a general store, a diner, a school, a church, homes with porch lights on through the long winters. People here know each other, for better or worse. But Cutter’s Bend also holds an old wound. Twelve years ago, a local teenager vanished without a trace, and the case was never solved. This year’s early thaw has cracked something loose - evidence the ice had been hiding all this time - and the case is finally reopening.
