Thousands of years ago, humanity vanished, leaving the world to be conquered by the animals. None know what caused them to leave, until now. Caius, a blind mousefolk boy, has been haunted by terrifying dreams of a madness-causing plague known as The Red. When his dreams are proven true, it's up to him and his band of travelers to delve deep into the ruins of humanity's last city to find a cure, before its too late.
