Mira opened the Mii Maker and stared at the blank face template. Her best friend deserved something better than a quick build. So did her cousin, even if he didn't know he'd be playing the villain yet. She pulled up a photo on her phone and studied the details. Blue eyes, blonde hair, that pink butterfly hoodie her friend wore constantly. Mira dragged sliders until the face matched. Bright smile. Confident posture. The kind of person who would actually show up if everything went wrong. She saved the file and watched the hero spin on screen. Her cousin's Mii took longer. She had to make someone menacing without making it cruel. Dark hair that swept across the screen. Red eyes that felt dangerous but not mean. A fire archer with a weapon that looked powerful enough to threaten a kingdom. She adjusted the smirk three times before it felt right. Mira saved both files and closed her laptop. Episode one had its cast now. Two people she trusted, turned into characters for a story no one else knew existed yet. The recording could happen tomorrow. Tonight, she let herself feel ready.
