The search continues. A door creaks open at the back of the cabin. The demon glides through it and enters a dark cellar. Stone steps descend into cold air. At the bottom sits an altar stained with old blood. Strange symbols cover its surface. The cursed book rests in the center, waiting. The demon's form solidifies as it approaches. Clawed hands lift the book with care. Pages flutter open, revealing blank space hungry for names. This altar will protect the book while the demon rewrites its pages. The demon traces one claw across the bloodstained stone. Power hums through the air. But the book needs more than protection—it needs victims. The demon sets the book back on the altar and turns toward the steps. Outside the cabin, the demon begins its work. It gathers bones from the forest floor and carves symbols into them with sharp claws. The sign takes shape, its markings glowing faint red. This will lure curious souls who cannot resist dark mysteries. Near a clearing, the demon finds flat stones and arranges them into a low table. More symbols appear under its touch. People will gather here at night, drawn by forces they cannot name. The trap is set. Soon the blank pages will fill with fresh victims, and the demon's power will grow.
